Last week I went on a lunch time run in shorts and a shorts sleeve top. The temperature was around 60 F. One week later there are inches of snow on the ground and the average daytime high is 30 F. I'm not exaclty sure how that works but it seems to be typcial of Boulder. Winter is finally here and it feels like it now that we have had our first good snow. Cota loves it and provides much entertainment running around in the snow as it is up to his armpits in many places and he has to do a frolicky deer type trot to move through it. For the past 2 weekends Keith, Ashley, and I have all headed up to the local Eldora Ski Resort to make some turns. There are only 3 runs open so half days are all we can take before the boredom kicks in. Last year, I learned how to teleski but we were only here for half the season so I'm excited to get a full season of practice in this year. It'll be even better when there are more runs open!

Our house covered in snow.

I want snow! I think I might have forgotten how to snowboard....It was in the upper 70's this week. Definitely does not feel like winter or Christmas for that matter!
That looks a lot like a place I used to live.
