Old friends

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of hanging out with 2 friends I grew up with in North Carolina. Wendy and I started kindergarten together and went to the same school until we graduated from high school. I have many memories from my childhood of hanging out with Wendy and her sister Amanda. Wendy is beginning her career as a traveling nurse on Monday. She will be in Denver for a few months and then plans to move on to California. She and Amanda stayed with us on Wednesday night after 2 1/2 days of driving and moved into her apartment in Denver on Thursday. It was great seeing the both of them and I am excited that Wendy will be living close by even if for only a short amount of time.
