Adios Centro Americana

For the past coulpe of weeks Keith and I have been making our way North from Coban and into the El Peten region of Guatemala. We´ve been on a coffee tour, visited an Orchid farm, went caving at Kan´ve Caves, spent an afternoon at Semuc Champey (this is a 300m bridge that has pools on top of it and a raging river underneath- it was beautiful), intertubed the Rio Cahabon, and yesterday we went to Tikal. It has been a wonderful 2 weeks. I wished so many times that I still had my camera. While everything has been great, Tikal is definetly a highlight of the whole trip. We did a sunrise tour where we were able to watch the sunrise and listen to the jungle awake from the tallest temple in the park. We didn´t leave the park until 5pm as we were so facinated by the remains and maginitude of the early Mayan civilization. It was an amazing day. Now we are in Antigua and will hanging out here until Friday morning when we fly home. Next stop....Boulder, Colorado!
