Keith Forgot My Birthday

We spent my birthday on the beautiful Isla de Ometepe in Nicaragua. This island is in the middle of Lago de Nicaragua which happens to be the home of fresh water bull sharks! Unfortunately, we were not able to see any. The island also has 2 large volcanoes right in it´s center providing wonderful views from the waters edges and from the lake. It was a wonderful place to celebrate my special day and to recover from a nasty cold I managed to pick up in Costa Rica. We celebrated my birthday lying in the sun, reading, and relaxing. It was wonderful. The funny thing is that Keith didn´t know it was my birthday until I let him in on my secret at 6pm. His immediate response was, ¨Your birthday is tomorrow!¨. I simply laughed. Now I get to tease him for a very long time for forgeting!
