Home sweet home.

I am back in Oregon and it feels soooo good to be home. We arrived on Saturday after a long journey. Unfortunately, I returned with a kidney infection. It began as a UTI and then spread to my right kidney. I spent much of our flight home with a high fever, sick to my tummy, and in a lot of pain. I was able to get a doctor on Sunday and he prescribed a strong antibiotic and a pain killer. The painkiller makes me loopy. I am doing better now but am still in some pain. I should be fully recovered by the end of the week which is about the time my mom will arrive. She'll be here from Friday through Tuesday and I can't wait to see her! She's never been on a plane or out of the South so, this will be an adventure for her! Other than her visit I'll be spending the next week meeting up with friends, hanging out with Cota, relaxing, eating yummy food, and enjoying life back in the place I love most!
